Yoga pose for inner strength

Where is your inner strength when you need it? You will quickly find it with this exercise. This Kundalini yoga* exercise boosts your inner strength and stability.

With this exercise, you can build up your inner strength and connect with your higher divine energy. When you find your inner stability, you also exude it to the outside world. This dynamic exercise increases your spinal mobility, making your spine more supple and strong. By holding your breath, you consciously stimulate your breathing and train your lung capacity. The pranic energy that is created through conscious breath control spreads out throughout your entire body and strengthens you internally.

Sit upright in a cross-legged position and place your hands over your knees. Alternatively, sit in the thunderbolt pose and place your hands on your thighs. Keep your elbows straight. Breathe in fully and hold your breath. Now rhythmically move your spine backwards and forwards intensively between your shoulders and pelvis until you are unable to hold your breath any longer. Be aware and only hold your breath for as long as is comfortable for you. Keep your head up and your shoulders relaxed during this exercise. Stop the movement and breathe out. If you wish, you can close your eyes during this exercise and focus on the point between your eyebrows. Breathe in again and repeat the movement. Continue for 3 to 4 minutes. Then enjoy the relaxation.
