Colourful green smoothie bowl with spinach and blueberries

We’re excited to share with you a new trendy breakfast dish with a little surprise that will make sure you start your day in the best way.

Fruity, colourful, refreshing and will get your taste buds tingling…. it’s our very own YOGI TEA® Smoothie Bowl! Packed full of delicious ingredients, this recipe is healthy, vegan, and made by using our YOGI TEA® Minty Chlorella blend for a special YOGI TEA® twist. It’s quick to make, so great for all you busy bees out there but for those with a little time to spare, why not try creating beautiful decorative patterns using all the colourful toppings? Brighten up your morning and have a go at the recipe below!


Ingredients for 2 servings

Preparation time: 10 minutes


For the bowl

  • 2 YOGI TEA® Minty Chlorella tea bags
  • 160 g fresh baby spinach
  • 2 stems of fresh mint, leaves
  • 1 stem of fresh basil
  • 2 bananas
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 oranges
  • 10 g ginger
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 dates
  • 1 pinch of salt


For the topping

  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 100 g blueberries
  • Fresh mint leaves




  • Pour 400 ml of boiling water over the YOGI TEA® Minty Chlorella tea bags and leave to steep for 10 minutes.
  • Then remove the tea bags and leave the tea to cool completely.
  • Blend all the ingredients for the bowl together in a high-speed blender and then pour into bowls.
  • Chop the kiwi into slices. Garnish the smoothie bowls with kiwi slices, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, blueberries and mint leaves and serve fresh.
