Balancing Overnight Oats

What better way to start the day with zest and energy than with a delicious, healthy and balanced breakfast? But you may often not have the time for the elaborate preparations in which many different ingredients must be peeled, chopped into small pieces and blended. This is why we offer a creative, simple and quick recipe for you to easily make a delicious breakfast from oats and fruit overnight. Like all of the other recipes, our YOGI TEA® is also used as an ingredient (YOGI TEA® Women’s Balance).

Ingredients for 4 portions

Preparation time: 5 min (plus time for soaking overnight)

 

 

  • 100 – 160 grams rolled oats
  • 200 ml hot water
  • 4 bags of YOGI TEA® Women’s Balance
  • 200 grams of banana
  • 160 grams (approximately 4 big handfuls) blueberries
  • 160 grams (approximately 4 big handfuls) raspberries
  • 4 medjool dates without the pit

 

Preparation

 

  • Steep the YOGI TEA® tea bags in hot water (100°C) for 7 minutes and let it cool.
  • Once it has cooled, add the banana to the tea and use a hand mixer to make it into a smooth liquid.
  • Chop dates into fine pieces. Add dates to the banana tea mixture.
  • Divide oats over 4 jars. Add one fourth of the banana tea mixture to each jar.
  • Add one handful of blueberries and one handful of raspberries to each jar.
  • Close with lid and let sit in fridge overnight. Remove from the fridge 15 minutes before breakfast.
  • Tip: Serve with a bit of fresh mint.
