Ingredients for approx. 16 bars

Preparation time: 20 minutes + 4 hours cooling time

  • 100 ml oat milk
  • 3 YOGI TEA® Choco teabags
  • 75 g rolled oat flakes
  • 30 g coconut, flaked
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 250 g stoned dates
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 g peanuts
  • 150 g vegan dark chocolate
  • 2 tsp coconut oil

Preparation

  • For the base, bring the oat milk to the boil, leave the teabags to steep in it for 8 minutes before removing the teabags. Add the oat milk, together with the rolled oats, flaked coconut, maple syrup and 1 tbsp coconut oil to a food processor and blend thoroughly.
  • Pour the mix into a 25 x 20 cm large baking tray lined with baking paper and spread out smoothly. Leave to cool in the fridge.
  • For the caramel layer, leave the dates to soak in warm water for 10 minutes. Then strain, leave to drain well and mix together with the peanut butter and a pinch of salt in the food processor.
  • Coarsely chop the peanuts and fold into the date and peanut butter mixture. Spread evenly over the cooled base layer and leave to cool for at least 2 hours. Then cut into approx. 9 x 2 ½ cm bars.
  • Melt the chocolate with the rest of the coconut oil in a bowl over simmering water.
  • Dip the bars in the melted chocolate, let them drip and then leave them to set hard in the fridge for 2 hours.
  • Tip: The bars can be kept in an airtight container for up to 14 days in the fridge.
