Green Spring Bowl with YOGI TEA® Heartwarming

Now that spring is in full swing, we want to share this easy-to-cook and Vegan recipe with you.

Our Green Spring Bowl recipe with our YOGI TEA® Heartwarming as a special ingredient adds a fruity-fresh taste to this amazing springy bowl. Enjoy the fresh taste of spring and joie de vivre with our delicious recipe.

 

Ingredients for 4 portions

Preparation time: 30 Minutes

 

  • 400 g buckwheat
  • 400 g French beans
  • 500 g Broccoli
  • 1 fresh cucumber
  • 1 tbsp Sesame
  • 1 tbsp sunflower kernels
  • ½ red chili
  • 400 g cooked black beans
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 300 g baby spinach
  • ¼ bunch basil

 

For the dressing

  • 2 bags YOGI TEA® Heartwarming
  • 2 tbsp Tahini (alternative: almond butter)
  • 2 tbsp apple vinegar
  • ¼ tsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper

 

Preparation

 

  • Bring the buckwheat to a boil in twice the amount of water and allow to simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, then drain.
  • Steam the beans and the broccoli, cut into florets, for 15 minutes or less according to preference.
  • Grate the cucumber lengthways into strips and roll up.
  • Toast the sesame and sunflower kernels in a hot pan for 5 minutes without oil, turning occasionally.
  • Cut the chili into fine rings. Season the beans with salt and set aside.

 

  • For the dressing, allow the YOGI TEA® Heartwarming to steep in 100ml boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • Then remove the teabag and combine with the remaining ingredients for the dressing.
  • Round off with salt and pepper.

 

  • Divide the buckwheat, vegetables, cucumber rolls, beans and baby spinach into bowls and top with the dressing, toasted sesame and sunflower kernels, chili and torn basil leaves.
