We are pleased to introduce a new recipe by (and with) YOGI TEA®.
Throat Comfort Sweet Bread
Takes 30 minutes | makes 1 whole bread
100 grams whole rice flour
60 grams coconut blossom sugar
50 grams chestnut flour
40 grams arrow root
½ teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of fine sea salt
2 bags of YOGI TEA® Throat Comfort (contents)
12 grams fresh thyme (finely chopped)
240 grams ripe banana
60 grams fresh ginger (peeled)
20 grams coconut oil
Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl. In a separate bowl mash the banana, and grate ginger, combine together and add coconut oil. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix well. Place into muffin tins or small 1 serving size cake forms.
Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes. Let cool.
Tip: Tastes great with banana cream. To make this, use a hand mixer or blender to blitz bananas and a few drops of lime juice into a smooth and creamy ’butter’.
