Christmas is coming soon… and when the first little lights shine in the streets and the houses are festively decorated, you suddenly feel a stronger desire to bake. No one can ignore the magical fragrance of freshly baked biscuits!

For the dough:
300 g flour (white cake flour)
Some flour for rolling the dough
50 g powdered sugar
1 pinch of salt
Contents of 4 YOGI TEA® Classic teabags, sifted
200 g butter
For the decoration:
100 g granulated sugar
Knead the butter well with the powdered sugar, the sifted tea from the teabags and the pinch of salt. Add the flour and knead into a smooth dough. Then wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest for at least half an hour in the refrigerator. After the resting time, take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it out in portions that are 4 mm thick and cut out the biscuits with a star-shaped biscuit cutter (diameter of 4 cm). In the meantime, preheat the oven to 160°C. Place the cut biscuits on a baking tin that has been covered with baking paper and bake at 160°C in the oven (about 6 – 8 min.) until golden brown.
While the biscuits are still hot, dip portions of them in the granulated sugar. After you have decorated the biscuits, allow them to cool and then enjoy their taste. When stored in a closed tin, the biscuits will keep for 3 – 4 weeks.
